The 73rd Armenian Men’s Championship

The 73rd Armenian men’s chess championship is a round robin tournament which will take place during 11-21 January, 2013.
The following people can participate in this tournament:
a) Chess players who have shared 1-3 places in the 72th Championship
b) Chess players who have the highest average FIDE rating (on the 1 September and 1 November of 2012 and 1 January, 2013 lists)
c) Chess players who have shared 1-3 places in the first league of the year 2012.
One participant who took the highest place at the Armenian Men’s Championship will be included in the Armenian team.

The 74th Armenian Men’s Championship

The qualification tournaments for the first league of the 74th Armenian men’s chess championship are the Yerevan Open Championship and the final tournaments of Marzes. These are round robin tournaments with 9 rounds. Yerevan Open Championship will take place during 10-19 July, 2013. The Marzes tournaments will take place during 15-26 May, 2013, Jermuk.
The following people can participate in these tournaments:
• Grandmasters, International, FIDE and National Masters, Women Grandmasters and International Masters who are not allowed to participate in the highest and first leagues,
• Chess players who have 2301 and above national rating,
• The participants who took 2-5 places at the Armenian Championship /under 18/,
• The participants who took 1-5 places at the Armenian Championship /under 16/,
• The participants who took 1-3 places at the Armenian Championship /under 14/,
• The winner of the Armenian Championship /under 12/.
10 chess-players from the Yerevan Championship /semifinal/ receive an invitation to the Yerevan Final Championship. From the Marzes the following number of participants are allowed to participate in Jermuk tournament: Lori, Shirak: 5; Kotayk, Syunik: 4; Armavir: 3; Ararat, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, Tavush: 2; and Nagorno Karabakh: 2.
The first league of the 74th Armenian men’s chess championship will take place during 20 August to 4 September. It will be round robin tournament with 14 participants.
The following people can participate:
a) Chess-players whose average international rating of January 1 and May 1, 2011 rating lists is not above 2550,
b) 3 chess-players from the Yerevan Championship,
c) 3 chess-players from the Regional /Marzes/ Championships.
d) The champion of the Armenian Championship /under-18/.

In case of necessity the list of the participants is to be filled with the 4th place of b) and c) tournaments whose average international rating of January 1 and May 1, 2011 will be higher.
The highest league of the 74nd Armenian men’s chess championship will take place in January, 2014, Yerevan. The following people can participate in this tournament:
a) Chess-players who took 1-3 places at the 73rd Armenian Men’s Championship,
b) chess-players whose average international rating of January 1 and May 1, 2013 rating lists is 2551 and above,
c) chess-players who took 1-3 places at the 73nd Armenian Men’s Championship.
The participants must assure their participation by December 10, 2013.

The 66th Armenian Women’s Championships

The highest league of the 66th Armenian women’s championship, will take place during 10-20 January in Yerevan with 10 participants. In this round robin tournament can participate:

• The prize winners of 1-3 places at the 65th Armenian women’s championship/highest league/,
• Women’s Grandmasters and International Masters,
• The participants who took 1-3 places at the first league of the Armenian Championship, 2011.
In case of necessity the list of the participants of high league is to be filled by the results of the first league tournament.

The 68th Armenian Women’s Championships

The qualification semifinal tournament of 2013 Championship /Yerevan Open Chess Championship, Semifinal/ will be held during 10-20 May, in Yerevan. It is a Swiss tournament with 9 rounds. In this tournament can participate chess players who have a national rating of 2001 and above, also those who have first or second chess rank.
The first league of the 69th Armenian Championship /Yerevan Open Chess Championship/ will take place during 23 July to 1 August, 2013. It is a Swiss tournament with 9 rounds. . In this tournament can participate chess players who have a national rating of 2001 and above, also those who took 1-10 places at the semifinal tournament. The participants from Marzes who have rating 2025 and above during the tournament will be covered with hotel and per diem.
The highest league of the 66th Armenian Championship will take place in January, Yerevan 2014.
The following people can participate:
a) Chess players who have shared 1-3 places in the highest league of the 68th Championship
b) Women’s International Grandmasters and International Masters
c) Chess players who have shared 1-3 places in the first league of the year 2013.

Armenian Club Cup Championship

The tournament will take place during 3-9 June, 2013. This is a round robin tournament where each club /organization/ can represent only one team. In each team must be included 6 main and 2 reserve players and 1 captain. The last day of application is 10 May, 2013.

Armenian Women Club Cup Championship

The tournament will take place during 3-9 June, 2013. This is a round robin tournament where each club /organization/ can represent only one team. In each team must be included 4 main and 1 reserve players and 1 captain.
