Vahe Danielyan and Erik Gasparyan advanced to the next stage

The qualification tournaments for the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships have come to an end.

Top 3 finishers in the rapid tournament:
1st place: FM Erik Gasparyan
2nd place: IM Vahe Danielyan
3rd place: FM Aleks Sahakyan

Top 3 finishers in the blitz tournament:
1st place: IM Stefan Pogosyan
2nd place: Edgar Hayrapetyan
3rd place: FM Benik Agasarov

And so, Vahe Danielyan and Erik Gasparyan advanced to the next stage based on the results of two tournaments.

In the rapid tournament, Vasil Mesropyan showed the best result among unrated participants, and Sergey Hakobyan in the blitz tournament.
