The qualifying tournament for the European Junior U20 Chess Championship has ended

From May 27 to June 2, the qualifying tournament for the European Junior U20 Chess Championship, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, was held at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

Here are the top three finishers after 7 rounds:
1st place: IM Arsen Davtyan — 5.5 points
2nd place: IM Benik Agasarov — 5 points
3rd place: FM Edgar Hayrapetyan — 5 points

As a result of the tournament, IM Arsen Davtyan earned the right to participate in the European Junior U20 Chess Championship with expenses covered by the Armenian Chess Federation. The championship will take place in Montenegro from August 5 to 16.
