Sargis Sargissyan has become the runner-up of the IPCA World Individual Standard Chess Championship

FM Sargis Sargissyan has become the runner-up of the 2026 IPCA World Individual Standard Chess Championship held in Spain.

During the tournament, Sargis remained undefeated and scored 7.5 points out of 9, sharing 1st-2nd place with IM Marcin Molenda of Poland.
