The FIDE World U14-18 Youth Chess Championship is coming to an end
There are three rounds remaining in the 2026 FIDE World Youth Chess Championship, currently taking place in Montesilvano, Italy.
After 8 rounds, in the U18 category, FM Vache Hovakimyan and IM Benik Agasarov have 6 points and are sharing 4th–10th place. In the aame category, FM Rudolf Pashikyan and IM Vahe Sukiasyan have 5 points.
In the U14 category, FM Tyhran Ambartsumian and CM Artem Mamikonyan have 6 points and are sharing 4th–14th place.
In the U16 category, Tigran Soghomonyan has 5 points.
In the G16 category, WFM Sona Krkyasharyan has 5 points.
In the G18 category, Anahit Mkrtchyan has 4.5 points, while WFM Nvard Hayrapetyan has 3.5 points.
In the G14 category, Gabriela Harutyunyan has 4.5 points, and Angelina Mirakyan has 4 points.
Round 9 will start on June 24 at 17:00 Armenian time.
