There are two rounds remaining in the 2026 FIDE World Youth Chess Championship, currently taking place in Montesilvano, Italy.

After 9 rounds, in the U14 category, CM Artem Mamikonyan has 7 points and is sharing 2nd–6th place. In the same category, FM Tyhran Ambartsumian has 6.5 points and is sharing 7th place.

In the U18 category, FM Vache Hovakimyan has 6.5 points and is sharing 7th–10th place. In the same category, IM Benik Agasarov and IM Vahe Sukiassyan have 6 points, while FM Rudolf Pashikyan has 5.5 points.
