There are two rounds remaining in the 2026 FIDE World Youth Chess Championship, currently taking place in Montesilvano, Italy.
After 9 rounds, in the U14 category, CM Artem Mamikonyan has 7 points and is sharing 2nd–6th place. In the same category, FM Tyhran Ambartsumian has 6.5 points and is sharing 7th place.
