The Armenian national team is among the leaders one round before the end of the championship

In the penultimate round of the European Team Chess Championship, the Armenian men's national team drew with the Greek team, and the women's national team drew with the Georgian team.

In the men's championship, GM Haik Martirosyan won. The games of GM Gabriel Sargissian and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan ended in a draw. GM Hrant Melkumyan lost.

In the women's championship, GM Elina Danielian won. The games of WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan and WIM Susanna Gaboyan ended in a draw. IM Lilit Mkrtchian lost.

One round before the end of the championship, the Armenian men's team is in the 4th place, and the women's team is in the 8th place.

In the last round, the Armenian men's team will play against the English team, and the women's team will play against the Polish team.
