One round remains at the European Junior U20 Chess Championship

One round remains at the 2026 European Junior U20 Chess Championship, currently taking place in Cetinje, Montenegro.

In the Open section, before the final round, GM Emin Ohanyan, IM Aleks Sahakyan, and IM Vahe Sukiasyan have 6 points out of 8 and share 1st–5th places.

In the Girls section, WFM Nvard Hayrapetyan has 5.5 points and shares 3rd–6th places.

The final round of the championship will start on August 15 at 16:00 Armenian time.
