The Mikhail Botvinnik Chess Cup for Youth Teams from CIS Countries has come to an end

From August 12 to 17, the Mikhail Botvinnik Chess Cup for Youth Teams from CIS Countries was held in Moscow, Russia.

The tournament brought together teams from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

After an exciting and intense battle, the Russian team became the tournament winner.

The Armenian team finished in 5th place.

The Armenian team consisted of GM Levon Babujian, CM Aren Mnatsakanyan, Davit Stepanyan, Arman Aslanyan, and Natali Afiyan.
