Armenian chess players have secured prize-winning places

Armenian chess players have secured prize-winning places at the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival.

In the "Masters" group, IM Sergey Sklokin-Bagiyan scored 6 points out of 9 and shared 7th–15th places. Based on tie-breaks, Sergey finished 11th.

In the same group, FIDE representative GM Rudik Makarian finished 4th with 6.5 points.

Armenian-American GM Vladimir Akopian won the Seniors Blitz Tournament.

The team of GM Vladimir Akopian and FM Eduard Hakobyan won the Family Team Blitz Chess Tournament.

In the "Open B" group, Artur Gharagyozyan scored 7.5 points and finished in 3rd place.

Armenian women's national chess team member WIM Susanna Gaboyan finished 5th in the Ladies Blitz Tournament.
