The Armenian national teams recorded victories

The Armenian national teams recorded victories in the 6th round of the 46th Chess Olympiad.

The Armenian men's team defeated Iran with a score of 2.5:1.5.

GM Gabriel Sargissian secured the winning point for the team.

The games of GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Robert Hovhannisyan and GM Shant Sargsyan ended in draws.

The Armenian women's team defeated Latvia with a score of 3:1.

IM Lilit Mkrtchian, WGM Mariam Mkrtchyan and GM Elina Danielian won their games.

After 6 rounds, the Armenian men's team is in 3rd place with 11 team points, while the women's team is in 7th place with 10 team points.

Tomorrow is a rest day. In Round 7, taking place on September 22, the Armenian men's team will face the USA, while the women's team will face Azerbaijan.
