Seniors Rapid Chess Tournament dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia

On September 21, the Armenian Chess Federation held a Seniors Rapid Chess Tournament dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

52 chess players participated in the tournament.

Here are the prize winners:
1st place — IM Ashot Nadanian
2nd place — FM Roman Akopov
3rd place — Karen Makaryan
4th place — Artur Harutyunyan
5th place — Haik Dolmazian

Among the participants aged 80 and over, the best result was achieved by 89-year-old Stepan Balayan.
