The Armenian women's team has defeated Azerbaijan

The Armenian women's chess team has defeated the Azerbaijani team.

In the 7th round of the 46th Chess Olympiad, Armenia beat Azerbaijan with a score of 2.5:1.5.

IM Lilit Mkrtchian and GM Elina Danielian secured victories.

The game of WGM Mariam Mkrtchyan ended in a draw.

After 7 rounds, the Armenian women's team has 12 match points out of 14 and is in 6th place.

In the 8th round, the Armenian team will face the USA team.
