Robert Piliposyan has won a bronze medal

Armenian chess players have secured prize-winning places at the FIDE World Junior U20 Blitz Championship, held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

IM Robert Piliposyan scored 9.5 points out of 13, sharing 2nd–4th place. Robert secured the bronze medal on tie-breaks.

IM Aleks Sahakyan scored 9 points, finishing in 5th prize-winning place.

It is worth noting that Aleks is currently serving in the Armenian Armed Forces.

GM Emin Ohanyan also participated in the championship, finishing in 13th place with 8.5 points.
