Three Armenian chess players have a perfect score

The 2026 European U8-18 Youth Chess Championship is taking place from November 3 to 12 in Crete, Greece.

Armenia is represented by 58 chess players.

After four rounds, FM Tyhran Ambartsumian (Open U14), Nare Isakhanyan (Girls U12), and Sofia Baghramyan (Girls U10) have 4 points.

The 5th round will start on November 7 at 17:00 Armenia time.

IM Vahe Sukiasyan (Open U18), WFM Sona Krkyasharyan (Girls U16), Monte Avetisyan (Open U8), Rafael Zakaryan (Open U8), and Mark Adamyan (Open U8) have 3.5 points
