The best result among Armenian chess players was shown by Shant Sargsyan

The World Rapid Chess Championship has come to an end.

In the men's championship, 16th world champion Magnus Carlsen became the champion. Magnus scored 10 points out of 13.

The best result among Armenian chess players was shown by GM Shant Sargsyan, who scored 8 points. Tigran Petrosian scored 7.5 points. GM Robert Hovhannisyan and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan scored 7 points.

In the women's tournament, IM Anastasia Bodnaruk became the champion. Anastasia scored 8.5 points out of 11.

The best result among Armenian chess players was shown by GM Elina Danielian, who scored 6.5 points. WIM Susanna Gaboyan scored 6 points and WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan scored 5 points.
