There is one round left in the Armenian championships

The penultimate round of the 84th Armenian Chess Championship and the 79th Armenian Women's Championship has ended.

After the 8th round, the sole leader of the men's championship is GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, who has 5.5 points.

GM Robert Hovhannisyan and GM Mamikon Gharibyan are half a point behind the leader.
