The opening ceremony of the Karen Asrian Memorial took place today

Today, the opening ceremony of the international chess tournament dedicated to the memory of three-time Armenian champion, gold medalist of the Chess Olympiad Karen Asrian took place at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan, the Executive Director Armen Gevorgyan, grandmaster Levon Aronian, parents and relatives of Karen Asrian, members of the Armenian national chess team and others.
