Blitz tournament dedicated to the memory of Karen Asrian

On April 23, the blitz chess tournament dedicated to the memory of Karen Asrian was held at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

There were chess players from 8 countries in the tournament, including 15 grandmasters and 8 international masters.

And so, according to the results of 9 rounds, the following chess players took prize places:

3rd place: GM Zaven Andriasian
4th place: GM Karen Grigoryan
5th place: FM Erik Gasparyan
6th place: GM Robert Hovhannisyan
7th place: GM Tornike Sanikidze
8th place: IM Ashot Nadanian
9th place: GM Hrair Simonian
10th place: GM Tigran Petrosian 

1st place among girls: Nvard Hayrapetyan
1st place U16: Valter Gyurjinyan
