Karen Makaryan became the winner of the tournament dedicated to Victory Day

On May 9, the Armenian Chess Federation organized a senior rapid chess tournament dedicated to Victory Day.

43 chess players took part in the tournament.

According to the results of 7 rounds, the following participants took prize places:
1st place: Karen Makaryan - 6 points
2nd place: FM Roman Akopov - 6 points
3rd place: Garegin Alekyan - 5.5 points
4th place: Garik Khachatrian - 5.5 points
5th place: Vladimir Pogosian - 5 points

Best 75+ participant: Genrikh Pashayan - 4.5 points
Best 80+ participant: Stepan Balayan - 4 points
