Stepan Avagyan Memorial 2024

On June 10, the Stepan Avagyan Memorial started in Jermuk. 

Top chess players from Armenia, the USA, Germany, India, Romania, Russia, and Iran are participating in the 17th category RR tournament. 

After 2 rounds, the sole leader is GM Arjun Erigaisi, who defeated GM Robert Hovhannisyan in the first round, and GM Shant Sargsyan in the second.

GM Deac Bogdan-Daniel and GM Haik Martirosyan have 1.5 points.

The games start at 15:00 Armenian time.
