A rapid chess tournament among seniors dedicated to the Tigran Petrosian's 95th anniversary, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, took place today.

37 chess players took part in the tournament.

According to the results of 7 rounds, the following participants took prize places:
1st place: Garegin Alekyan - 6 points
2nd place: Garik Khachatrian - 5.5 points
3rd place: Paruyr Hakobyan - 5.5 points
4th place: Sargis Melkonyan - 5 points
5th place: Karen Makaryan - 5 points

Best 75+ participant: Genrikh Pashayan - 4 points
Best 80+ participant: Stepan Balayan - 2.5 points
