Armenian chess players are among the prize winners

"17th Poti International Chess Festival Nana Aleksandria Cup - 2024" is concluded.

The tournament was held in different rating and age groups.

We present all our prize winners... 

In the A group, GM Hovik Hayrapetyan scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took the 5th position.

FM Vahe Sukiasyan scored 6 points and took the 8th place.

GM Vahe Baghdasaryan took the 1st place with 6 points in the U2300 category.

WFM Anna Khachatryan took the 1st place in the women section with 4.5 points.

In the B group, Khachatur Mesropyan scored 6.5 points and took the 3rd place.

Ruben Ishkhanyan and Suren Gesyan also scored 6.5 points and with tie-breaks took the 4th and 5th places respectively.

Anahit Muradyan took the 2nd place with 5.5 points in the women section, and Seda Badalyan took the 3rd place with 5 points in the women section.

Mamikon Martirosyan took the 1st place in the senior 60+ section with 5.5 points.

In the C group, Mark Margaryan scored 6.5 points and took the 3rd place.

Armen Vardanyan took the 1st place with 6.5 points in the U1700 section.

Vahan Tovmasyan took the 1st place in the U12 section.

In the D group, Tigran Gevorgyan scored 7.5 points out of 9 and became the winner.

Yura Harutyunyan took the 2nd place with 7 points, and Aram Vardevanyan took the 3rd place with the same number of points.

Armen Khachatryan took the 1st place with 7 points in the U1500 section.

In the E group, Martun Abrahamyan scored 6.5 points and took the 3rd place.

Armenuhi Babayan took the 2nd place in the girls section with 5.5 points.

Ruben Baghumyan took the 1st place in U12 section.

In the U8 group, Manvel Vardanyan scored 7.5 points out of 9 and became the winner.

Hakob Petrosyan also scored 7.5 points and took the 3rd place with tie-breaks.
