FIDE World Rapid Team Championship

The FIDE World Rapid Team Championship 2024 is taking place from August 2 to 5 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Armenian leading chess player GM Haik Martirosyan is part of the "Chessy" team in the championship.

The team consists of GM Rapport Richard, GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Jorden Van Foreest, GM Santosh Gujarathi Vidit, GM Alexey Sarana, GM Koneru Humpy, IM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus, GM Anna Muzychuk, and Mukhtar Ainakul.

In the team-starting rank, the «Chessy» team is the 3rd place among 38 teams.
