Armenian chess players are among the leaders

The first game day of the European Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship 2024 has ended.

After 5 rounds, FM Aleks Sahakyan has 4.5 points and shares the first place in the U18 section.

Allen Hakobyan has 4 points and shares the 3rd-8th places in the U16 section.

Ashot Avetisyan has 4 points and shares the 5th-11th places in the U10 section.

Sofia Baghramyan also has 4 points and shares the 2nd-5th places in the G8 section.

On August 18, the remaining 4 rounds of the championship will take place.
