Armenian chess players won 3 gold and 2 bronze medals

Let's summarize the results of our chess players in the European Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship 2024 held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Armenian chess players won 3 gold and 2 bronze medals.

FM Aleks Sahakyan became the European U18 Rapid Chess Champion.

Sona Krkyasharyan became the European G14 Blitz Chess Champion.

Sofia Baghramyan became the European G8 Blitz Chess Champion, as well as the bronze medalist of the European G8 Rapid Chess Championship.

The Armenian team became the bronze medalist of the European U10 Team Rapid Chess Championship. Team was represented by Davit Melkonyan, Ashot Avetisyan, Armen Vardanyan and Slava Konjoryan.

The head of the delegation was FM Tigran Gasparian.
