Armenian Senior Chess Championship

From August 20 to 28, the Armenian Senior Chess Championship is held at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The championship is held in 50+ and 65+ age groups.

After 4 rounds, the leaders in the 50+ age group are IM Ashot Nadanian and Khachatur Mesropian, who have 3.5 points.

The leaders in the 65+ age group are Garik Khachatrian, FM Roman Akopov and Garegin Alekyan, who also have 3.5 points.

The 65+ age group will take place in 9 rounds, and the 50+ age group will take place in 7 rounds.
