The best athletes of the year in Armenia are known

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia held the "Best of the Year in Sports" competition, the winners of which were determined by the results of the voting of sports journalists.

19 sports journalists participated in the voting, who conducted a closed, secret vote. The results were summarized by a commission formed by the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.

The national men's chess team was recognized as the best team.

Summing up the results, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports thanked the journalists for their participation and professional approach. The Minister emphasized that the results of the competition held in a new format have created an opportunity to determine the best female athlete, the best team, the best coach, the best young athlete and the best athlete with a disability.
