The FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship has come to an end

The FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship 2024 has come to an end in New York.

GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Ian Nepomniachtchi became champions in the Open Championship, and GM Ju Wenjun in the Women's championship.

Armenian GM Haik Martirosyan is also among the prize winners, who scored 9 points out of 13 and shared the 11th-13th places.

In the Women's Championship, Armenian GM Elina Danielian is also among the prize winners, who scored 7 points out of 11 and shared the 14th-24th places.
