There is one round left until the end of the Armenian men's and women's chess championships

The penultimate 8th round of the 85th Armenian Chess Championship and the 80th Armenian Women's Championship has ended.

In the men's championship, only GM Tigran Harutyunyan won today.

IM Artur Davtyan - GM Karen Grigoryan, FM Benik Agasarov - GM Robert Hovhannisyan, GM Mamikon Gharibyan - FM Sargis Sargsyan, GM Manuel Petrosyan - GM Zaven Andriasian games ended in a draw.

Before the last round, the sole leader remains GM Robert Hovhannisyan, who has 5.5 points.

IM Artur Davtyan and FM Sargis Sargsyan have 5 points.

In the women's championship, WFM Mariam Avetisyan, Milena Gasparyan, Nvard Hayrapetyan and WFM Polina Kobak won today.

WIM Susanna Gaboyan - WFM Anna Khachatryan game ended in a draw.

Before the last round, the sole leader in the women's championship remains WIM Susanna Gaboyan, who has 6 points.
