The Armenian Chess Championhips have ended

The closing ceremony of the 85th Armenian Chess Championship and 80th Armenian Women's Chess Championship took place at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School today.

And so we summarize the results...

In the men's championship, GM Robert Hovhannisyan became the champion with 6.5 points out of 9.

IM Artur Davtyan became the silver medalist with 5.5 points.

FM Sargis Sargsyan became the bronze medalist also with 5.5 points.

In the women's championship, WIM Susanna Gaboyan became the champion with 7 points.

WFM Anna Khachatryan became the silver medalist with 6.5 points.

WFM Mariam Avetisyan became the bronze medalist with 6 points.

Milena Gasparyan and Nvard Hayrapetyan also scored 6 points, taking 4th and 5th places with tie-breaks.

GM Robert Hovhannisyan and WIM Susanna Gaboyan received the right to play in the Armenian national team.
