The Yerevan stage of the Armenian Youth Chess Championship is underway

Yerevan stage of the Armenian Youth Chess Championship kicked off today at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The tournament is held in 6 age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, G10 and G12.

More than 600 chess players are participating in the tournament this year.

Chess players who take the following places will get the right to participate in the Armenian Youth Championship Semifinal Tournament:
U8 - 1-20 places
U10 - 1-25 places
U12 - 1-20 places
U14 - 1-18 places
G10 - 1-10 places
G12 - 1-12 places
