Today is the 115th anniversary of Genrikh Kasparyan

Today is the 115th anniversary of the ten-time Armenian champion, international grandmaster of chess composition Genrikh Kasparyan.

Kasparyan had his invaluable contribution in chess compositions, he was even called the "king of compositions". He was the first Armenian master, the first Armenian champion and the first grandmaster of chess composition in the world.

Genrikh Kasparyan was born on February 27, 1910. Died on December 27, 1995.
