"Aeroflot Open 2025" international chess tournament is underway

From March 1 to 6, the international chess tournament "Aeroflot Open 2025" is being held in Moscow, Russia.

"Aeroflot Open" has been held since 2002. In 2004, it was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest chess tournament.

This year, the tournament is open to players FIDE-rated 2300 points and above as of 01.01.2025.
