Smbat Lputian hosted Patrick Van Holland

On March 27, the Vice-President of the Armenian Chess Federation, founder of the Chess Academy of Armenia Smbat Lputian hosted the President of the International Chess Association of Francophonie Patrick Van Holland.

During the meeting, a number of organizational issues of the chess tournament to be held within the framework of the upcoming Francophonie Festival were discussed.

Considering that chess is included as a sport within the framework of Francophonie for the first time, the responsibility of the hosts is quite high. The parties expressed hope that thanks to cooperation they will be able to organize this important tournament at a high level.
