Shant Sargsyan among the prize winners in Sharjah

The "8th Sharjah Masters 2025" international chess tournament has concluded.

In Group A (rating 2500+), 82 players from 31 countries took part.

Armenian GM Shant Sargsyan scored 6 points out of 9 and finished in 5th place.

Here are the top three finishers:
1st place – GM Anish Giri (Netherlands)
2nd place – GM Aleksandar Indjic (Serbia)
3rd place – GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan)
