
FIDE Women's World Cup 2025
In round two of the FIDE Women's World Cup, IM Lilit Mkrtchian, playing with the black pieces, won the first game against IM Aleksandra Maltsevskaya from Poland.
GM Elina Danielian drew her game against GM Antoaneta Stefanova, representing Bulgaria.
The tournament is held in a knockout format. In each round, the players play two classical games. If the score is 1:1, the winner will be decided in rapid and blitz tie-breaks.
The second game of the second round will start on July 10 at 15:00.
