Rita Zakaryan has passed away

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rita Zakaryan, wife of Vanik Zakaryan, who held the titles of two-time Armenian chess champion, Master of Sport of the USSR, and President of the Armenian Chess Federation (1994-2004).

The memorial service will take place on July 18 at 18:00 at Saint John the Baptist Church (Kond).

The funeral will be held at the same location on July 19, at 13:00.

The entire staff of the Armenian Chess Federation extends its condolences to the family, relatives, and colleagues.
