International Chess Day was marked by a festive event

On July 20, International Chess Day was celebrated in the Misak Manushyan Park, also marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian men’s national team’s participation in international tournaments.

A festive chess event was organized, featuring a simultaneous exhibition, chess puzzle solving, as well as musical and dance performances.

The simultaneous exhibition was conducted by GM Robert Hovhannisyan, GM Tigran Harutyunyan, and GM Mamikon Gharibyan.

Around 120 children participated in the event.
