Vardan Khojayan is the winner of the "Southern California Open U2300" tournament

In the Southern California Open (U2300 Section), Armenian Vardan Khojayan achieved a great result. 

He scored 5 points out of 6, shared 1st–2nd places, and won the tournament on tiebreaks.

Another Armenian participant, FM Suren Poghosyan, finished in prize 5th place.
