Robert Hovhannisyan is among the leaders

In the 3rd round of the 2025 FIDE Grand Swiss, Armenian GM Robert Hovhannisyan defeated 2731-rated GM Vladimir Fedoseev.

With this result, Robert now has 2 points out of 3 and will face GM Ian Nepomniachtchi in the next round.

GM Gabriel Sargissian has 1.5 points out of 3, drawing against GM Hans Moke Niemann, GM Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and GM Samuel Sevian. 

Gabriel will face GM Sam Shankland in the next round.

GM Shant Sargsyan also has 1.5 points.

GM Haik Martirosyan and GM Aram Hakobyan have 1 point. 

Haik drew his first-round game against GM Levon Aronian, who now has 2 points.

In the Women's Grand Swiss, GM Elina Danielian has 1.5 points, while IM Lilit Mkrtchian has 1 point.

The 4th round will start on September 7 at 14:00 Armenia time.
