Robert Hovhannisyan drew with the reigning World Chess Champion

Armenian GM Robert Hovhannisyan drew with the reigning World Champion, GM Gukesh Dommaraju, in the 9th round of the 2025 FIDE Grand Swiss.

In the next round, Gukesh will face another Armenian player, GM Gabriel Sargissian.

Today, GM Shant Sargsyan drew with the 2023 FIDE Grand Swiss winner, GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi.

There are only two rounds left until the end of the tournament.
