European Universities Chess Championship 2025

The first day of the 2025 European Universities Rapid Chess Championship, taking place in Yerevan, has concluded.

After three rounds in the Open Championship, the sole leader is the team from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, which has won all its matches.

After two rounds in the Women Championship, the teams from the American University of Armenia and the University of Rijeka are tied for the lead, each with 2 points.

The Open Rapid Chess Championship will be held with 9 rounds, while the Women Championship will be held with 7 rounds.
