Mariam Mkrtchyan completed all the requirements for receiving the title of Woman Grandmaster

Mariam Mkrtchyan completed her third WGM norm and her first IM norm at the 2025 European Women's Team Chess Championship.

Playing on the second board, Mariam scored 6.5 out of 9 and improved her rating by 35 points, reaching 2353.

Since her rating already exceeds the required 2300 threshold, she will soon receive the WGM title.
