FIDE World Chess Cup

In the fourth round of the 2025 FIDE World Cup, the Armenian grandmasters ended their classical games in draws.

GM Gabriel Sargissian drew 1:1 with American GM Awonder Liang (rating: 2701). The winner will be decided tomorrow in the tie-breaks.

GM Shant Sargsyan drew 1:1 with German GM Frederik Svane (rating: 2640). The winner will also be determined tomorrow in the tie-breaks.

In the fourth round, American-Armenian GM Levon Aronian defeated Polish GM Radoslaw Wojtaszek (rating: 2660) with a score of 1.5:0.5 and advanced to the fifth round.

Another American-Armenian GM Samuel Sevian drew 1:1 with Italian GM Lorenzo Lodici (rating: 2572). The winner will be decided tomorrow in the tie-breaks.

The tie-breaks will start on November 13 at 13:30 Armenian time.
