In the first game of the 1/8-finals at the 2025 FIDE World Chess Cup, the Armenian grandmasters finished their games in draws.

GM Gabriel Sargissian (2624), playing with white, drew against Uzbek GM Nodirbek Yakubboev (2689).

Armenian-American GM Levon Aronian (2722), playing with black, drew against Indian GM Arjun Erigaisi (2773).

Armenian-American GM Samuel Sevian (2698), playing with white, drew against Chinese GM Wei Yi (2754).

The second game will start on November 15 at 13:30 Armenian time.
