The first round of the Armenian Chess Championships has concluded

The first round of the 86th Armenian Chess Championship and the 81st Armenian Women's Championship has concluded.

In the Open championship, victories were claimed by IM Artur Davtyan, GM Emin Ohanyan, and GM Mamikon Gharibyan.

GM Aram Hakobyan – GM Karen Grigoryan and GM Manuel Petrosyan – GM Zaven Andriasian games ended in draws.

In the Women's championship, WFM Anna Khachatryan, Ani Avetisyan, Anahit Mkrtchyan, and WFM Astghik Hakobyan scored wins.

The only draw was in the game between Sona Krkyasharyan and Angelina Mirakyan.

The second round will start tomorrow at 15:00.
