The second round of the Armenian Chess Championships has concluded

The second round of the 86th Armenian Chess Championship and the 81st Armenian Women's Championship has ended.

In the Open Championship, wins were claimed by GM Manuel Petrosyan, GM Zaven Andriasian, IM Arsen Davtyan, and FM Sargis Sargsyan.

The only draw was in the game between GM Karen Grigoryan and GM Emin Ohanyan. 

After the second round, the leaders are GM Zaven Andriasian, GM Manuel Petrosyan, and GM Emin Ohanyan, each with 1.5 points.

In the Women's Championship, Anahit Mkrtchyan and WFM Astghik Hakobyan scored wins today.

WFM Anna Khachatryan — WFM Nvard Hayrapetyan, Angelina Mirakyan — Ani Avetisyan, and WFM Mariam Avetisyan — Sona Krkyasharyan games ended in draws.

After the second round, the leaders are Anahit Mkrtchyan and WFM Astghik Hakobyan, who have 2 points.

Ani Avetisyan and WFM Anna Khachatryan have 1.5 points.

The third round will start tomorrow at 15:00.
