We already have a sole leader in the Open Championship

The 3rd round of the 86th Armenian Chess Championship and the 81st Armenian Women's Championship has concluded.

In the Open championship, GM Zaven Andriasian and IM Artur Davtyan scored victories today.

The games GM Emin Ohanyan — FM Sargis Sargsyan, GM Manuel Petrosyan — GM Karen Grigoryan, and GM Mamikon Gharibyan — GM Tigran Harutyunyan ended in draws.

After the 3rd round, GM Zaven Andriasian has already taken the lead with 2.5 points.

GM Manuel Petrosyan, IM Artur Davtyan, and GM Emin Ohanyan have 2 points.

In the Women's championship, victories were claimed by Sona Krkyasharyan, Ani Avetisyan, Anahit Mkrtchyan, and WFM Astghik Hakobyan.

The only draw was in the game between WFM Nvard Hayrapetyan and Lilit Kasinian.

After the 3rd round, the leaders are WFM Astghik Hakobyan and Anahit Mkrtchyan, who have 3 points.

Ani Avetisyan has 2.5 points, while Sona Krkyasharyan has 2 points.

The 4th round will start tomorrow at 15:00.
