The 5th round of the Armenian Chess Championships has concluded

The 5th round of the 86th Armenian Chess Championship and the 81st Armenian Women's Championship has concluded.

In the Open Championship, GM Aram Hakobyan, IM Artur Davtyan, and IM Arsen Davtyan scored victories today.

The games GM Mamikon Gharibyan — FM Sargis Sargsyan and GM Zaven Andriasian — GM Tigran Harutyunyan ended in draws.

After the 5th round, the leaders are GM Zaven Andriasian and IM Artur Davtyan with 3.5 points.

GM Manuel Petrosyan and GM Mamikon Gharibyan have 3 points.

In the Women's Championship, victories were claimed by WFM Nvard Hayrapetyan, Anahit Mkrtchyan, and WFM Astghik Hakobyan.

The games Sona Krkyasharyan — WFM Anna Khachatryan and Lilit Kasinyan — Angelina Mirakyan ended in draws.
